Thackley Cricket Club and its members love to engage with the community and host events throughout the year. Our annual fun day is legendary in the area and is held on the sunday of August bank holiday each year.
In addition we have our annual christmas tree light switch on, we hold regular bingo and quiz nights, and invite special guests throughout the year to provide unique and enjoyable evenings and events.

August 2025 and we welcomed the Mumbai Allstars touring side.
A beautiful display of T20 cricket, we look forward to them visiting again.
Christmas lights switch on
Our annual Christmas tree lights were officially switched on and the season began in style, with the sounds of classic carols filling the air with the unmistakable Salvation Army Band performing live, adding a traditional and heart-warming soundtrack to this much-loved community event. 🎄✨
